Background

The Trust has a statutory and legal requirement to provide mandatory training for employees who work within this trust.

Agreed at board level, all staff within the trust must complete the core 7 elements plus any additional job role specific training dependant upon their role.

Mandatory training is monitored and reported to board on a monthly basis and is a performance target which we are measured against.

Core 7 mandatory training

Core seven mandatory training needs to be completed by all staff:

Face to face

All of the above training is available in a half day face to face training session.  To view dates and book click here.  You may attend all or just part of the day but will need to sign the register to confirm which sessions you have attended.

On-line

Training highlighted above in blue is available to complete online, please click on the indivdiual sessions.  This is the easiest way to complete this training.  Once submitted your quiz will be marked and your record updated.  You will only be contacted if you have failed and are required to complete again.

Drop in

IT facilities are available for drop in sessions 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday in Room 2, South Tees LRI, JCUH or within the Library at the Frirage Hospital.  You can complete any of the above training with the exception of safeguarding children levels 2 and above which is only availabe through face to face training.

Disc

All of the above training, excluding safeguarding children levels 2 and above, is available to watch / complete by watching the mandatory training core 7 disc.  Once completed you must follow the instructions on the disc to inform us you have completed the training.  You record will then be updated.  You can request a copy of the disc by completing the form below.

 





Job role specific mandatory training

Job role specific training that needs to be completed dependant upon your job role:

Your line manager will discuss your job role specific training requirements with you at your local induction or through the apprasial system.
