Please note that this is an interactive virtual session which will be hosted via Microsoft Teams and the use of a webcam and microphone is required.
A calendar invite with the Microsoft Teams link will be issued to delegates nearer the time of the session.
This workshop is available to all staff across the trust, including leaders, managers, team members and teams as a whole.
Quality Improvement (Q.I) quantifying data explores a number of service improvement methods, as well as data reporting, run charts and assessing variance.
Candidates will partake in planned experimentation where they will then translate data gathered into meaningful results.
The workshop will enable candidates to bring about efficiencies, eliminate waste and streamline processes and working practices.
By the end of the session candidates you will have gained an understanding of:
- Measurement strategies
- Driver diagrams and PDSA
- PDSA in action & data capture
- Run charts and SPC charts
- Box and whiskers
- Quality improvement tool exploration

Fee: This training is free to attend for South Tees Hospitals employees. Non-attendance may be charged to your centre. If you have booked a place on this session on behalf of another member of staff, please ensure this is in their diaries and roster also.
If you are a non-medical registrant who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
